Dr. med. dent. Helge Knüppel
Studied dentistry at the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel with an overall grade of "very good".
Followed by 4 years of purely surgical additional training to become a specialist in oral surgery.
The only specialist dental training whose surgical catalogue includes implantology and even makes it a focus. It is a multi-year, full-time, purely surgical training and includes all operations in the oral and maxillofacial region, as well as dental implantology.
In the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Philipps University of Marburg (an der Lahn) under Prof. Dr. Dr. Austermann, Dr. Knüppel was in charge of the implant consultation and lectured for dental students in semesters 6 to 10 (Auscultando, intern and the X-ray course).
Scientific activity with pioneering work in the working group around Prof. Dr. Dr. H. Terheyden; at that time University Clinic Kiel; research focus: Bone regeneration with bone substitute materials, growth factors, differentiation factors, angiogenesis, simultaneous implant treatment and sinus floor elevation, dental germ transplants.
At the age of 29 he was appointed Germany's youngest specialist in oral surgery at the time by Prof. Nentwig, Director of the Polyclinic for Dental Surgery and Implantology in Frankfurt am Main.
After various stations in Germany, he set up his own practice in Oldenburg in 2008.
Gave up his licence to practise as a protest against this system and incompatibility with his own code of ethics.
Longevity Freak (Ice Bathing, WimHof Breathing Technology, Orthomolecular Medicine)
Passionate sportsman (running, weight training, boxing, swimming)
Keynote speaker at Greator ("Give your life a meaning" on Youtube), among others.

My grandmother was a dressmaker. As a boy, I often watched her designing, sketching, fitting and making dresses, then the gleam in the ladies' (aunts') eyes and the interactions when trying them on included. These were nothing off the peg. They were one of a kind! Like the women themselves! A very very beautiful "work". Incredibly creative, exciting, free and fulfilling! And formative for me!
At school I clearly had art as an advanced course.
At that time I was ridiculed for it.
I could draw very well.
I drew everything. And also sold them.
When I was a driving student, my friend Volker and I operated on erasers and the like on the way home from school.
I was a passionate sportsman and like everyone I played football. In my time of modern football, I was a mixture of Hans-Peter Briegel and Guido Buchwald and was in the squad of the national youth team. My companions at the time were Sammi Kuffour (Bayern Munich) and Hasan Salihamidzic (HSV at the time). My path to becoming a professional footballer seemed clear, especially when the bomber of the nation Gerd Müller (then coach of the A-youth team n Bayern Munich) would have liked to have me in his team.
After various injuries and operations, things turned out quite differently and officially I was a kind of sports invalid as a teenager.
And now what was I supposed to become with my art performance course?
A football colleague pressed "the medical test" into my hand. What a coincidence.
And somehow I ended up studying dentistry and not art.
I did a lot of science and graduated with an overall grade of "very good".
Still, I wanted to do it like the artists!
I went to the bank and got a loan. The "Third" also gave me one. My argument at the time was, "If I were a stock, I would buy myself!"
I visited the "great masters" of my field in Europe and looked at their hand.
And so it all took its course.
"I have no special talent, I am just passionately curious." -Einstein
The path to a new smile is like tailoring a dress and the lips are my picture frame - there are different "stages" to make it individually perfect.
For me it's like "playing".
It's so great that today we can reconstruct nature as closely as possible in biological dentistry and what we achieve is not visible to lay people.
To be happy about something that 'you' can't see. But that's what's so great!" It's not like no one sees what's happened. The patients see it very well. And it fascinates me and makes me so happy to be able to give people back a sense of self-worth and a laugh that makes them feel good. People with bad front teeth hide their laughter with their lips or behind their hands... It does put a strain on the soul! Ultimately a small cause, but with such a big effect!
In addition, a key moment for myself after a doctor's odyssey was the recognition of silent foci of inflammation in my body and thus the cause of the symptoms elsewhere in my body and unnecessary operations etc. at that time.
I live what I do today. I live and use the possibilities for Longevity such as sleep optimisation, breathing (WimHof) nutrition, micronutrients (VitD, Mg, VitK2, Vit C, Omega3 fatty acids), ice bathing, interval fasting, avoiding radiation, exercise and sport, detoxification and integrate or combine this with my Dental-IQ-Biohealth-Concept - bio-logical dentistry.
Today I feel fitter and more energetic than 15 years ago. My measured biological age proves me right.
Sounds crazy, doesn't it?
Making people happy is wonderful. "When I enter my practice rooms, I am still convinced that I have turned my hobby into a profession. How many people torture themselves to work? I am so lucky to have such a great job. And it's so nice to share happiness ... It gives me strength and energy!
Passion needs energy!
I do what I love!
And you will love what I do!
I promise!
Anyone who wants to be "infected" is very welcome!
With sunny greetings, warmly,
Yours
